Stealth Mode

Hide explanations and highlights while keeping automation active

Overview

Stealth Mode allows you to keep Quanta's auto-answer behavior while hiding visual explanations and highlights. This is useful when you want minimal on-screen changes.

How It Works

  • Explanations are hidden from display
  • Answer highlights are suppressed visually
  • Auto-answer selection still occurs silently
  • Answer details appear only in logs
  • Explanations are visible on screen
  • Answer highlights are shown with colors
  • Full visual feedback as questions are answered

Behavior

When to Use

  • Proctored Sessions: Where visual AI indicators are forbidden
  • Screen Recording: Clean recordings without Quanta traces
  • Testing Environments: Strict testing conditions that ban tools
  • Privacy: Keeping automation private from screen observers
  • Complies with proctoring software requirements
  • No visual evidence of tool usage
  • Minimal UI changes on screen
  • Full automation without visual artifacts
  • You lose real-time feedback about answer placement
  • Harder to verify answers before submission
  • Errors are silent (harder to debug)
  • Consider enabling temporarily for sensitive sessions

Configuration

Toggle Location

You can toggle Stealth Mode in:

  • Settings panel (main UI)
  • Status bar/toolbar (if available)
  • Keyboard shortcut (check settings for binding)

Technical Details

What Stealth Mode Cannot Hide

  • Quanta's network requests to AI providers (visible in network inspector)
  • The Quanta extension being installed (visible in chrome://extensions)
  • Form value changes (can be detected with JavaScript inspection)
  • Timing patterns of quiz completion
